EMDR Consultations
I help support other clinicians connected to and providing support to BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities as they work to bring EMDR Therapy to marginalized communities. I focus on Complex trauma, oppression trauma, grief & loss, cultural stress, and perinatal mental health. Additionally, I have experience applying EMDR Therapy within Community Mental Health Centers and Integrated Medical Facilities. Along with, experience with application of bilingual Spanish and English EMDR Therapy.
Individual Consultation
Rate: $50.00 USD for one hour of consultation.
Frequency of consultation: This depends on how many EMDR cases you have. I can do consultation weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
Limited availability for individual consultations.
Group Consultation
EMDR Group Consultations are led by me, Angélica Figueroa, LCSW, EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Consultant-In-Training. I am supported and guided by Jasmine Adams, LCSW, PMH-C EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I received my foundational training in EMDR by the Institute for Creative Mindfulness (ICM). The BIPOC Group Consultations are for BIPOC Clinicians working with BIPOC clients.
If you are a clinician working towards EMDR certification I can provide you with 15 hours of consultation because I am a Consultant-In-Training. The reminder 5 hours must be completed with an EMDRIA Approved Consultant.
Rate: $50.00 USD for two hours of group consultation
Clinical Supervision of Licensed Clinicians
I provide clinical supervision to licensed clinicians who would like additional supervision to further develop their clinical skills. If you are a licensed clinician and your current workplace does not provide supervision to licensed clinicians or you are in private practice and would like supervision, contact me to discuss scheduling of supervision.
I have extensive training in reflective, clinical, supportive, and administrative style of supervision that allows me to provide the important support that is needed in this field. Supervision will cover a variety of topics that consist of but are not limited to counter-transference issues, transference, diagnosis, assessment, clinical interventions, case conceptualization, and other things that come up in the work we do as therapists. My goal is to provide licensed clinicians with a space to further develop their skill set, provide support, guidance with questions related to cases and interventions, and provide a learning environment that encourages growth. Please see below for my rate and important note.
Licensed Clinician Supervision rate: $100.00 USD for one hour of clinical supervision.
*Please note, clinical supervision is separate from EMDR Consultations.*
